What is a Credit Report and why is it important...?

A credit report details your personal credit history, including mortgages, credit cards, overdrafts, mobile phone contracts and even some utilities such as gas, electricity and water. If you're over 18 and have ever taken out a credit agreement or a service that requires a credit agreement then a credit reference agency is very  likely to hold a history of this agreement under your personal name.

Lenders - How they use your credit report...

A credit report provides a snapshot of your credit accounts, repayment record and an overall historic breakdown of your  finances.  Lenders can only access your credit report with your permission. Proposed credit providers will use your credit report, information within your application and information they might already have to decide whether to offer you credit - usually by calculating a credit score for your application.  The proposed credit provider may also use it to decide how much to lend and to charge - for instance, people with an excellent record of handling credit may be offered higher credit limits and potential lower interest rates.

In light of the above and to enable a potential application for credit to be smooth, accurate and successful we are pleased to introduce you to Experian who can provide you with a free 30 day trial so you can ensure you have the necessary credit rating in readiness for your mortgage application.  Please take the opportunity to click on the link to take advantage of the free trial offer to access your Experian credit report today.

What our clients think about
our services:

"I would personally recommend the services provided by Instinct Financial Solutions who provided us with all our mortgage & insurance advice. One key area of protection Michael strongly advised me & George to take up was that of a Life and Critical illness insurance. Like most we never wanted or truly believed that one day we would need to sadly make a claim on our life policy. During very difficult times Michael willingly provided me with guidance and the strong support to ensure the claim process was smooth and as stress free as possible."

"We would just like to thank Michael for all the help and support in our house move! We have known Michael now for around 8 years, his experience and knowledge of the financial market has helped us no end in that time! Recently we moved house and as we all know house moves can be very stressful, but Michael took the stress out of the move as much as he could! He arranged everything from the mortgage through to home and life insurance and liaised with necessary lenders, solicitors and estate agents. We certainly could not have done it without him and we are eternally grateful for his professional support from start to finish!!"
